What did you do to your JK today?

No power to OBD could be a PCM issue though. Ugh. My radio was working just fine too, I guess I'll tear it out tomorrow and see if that solves anything.

Have you check the starter relay? If so, I'd lay a bet on the ECM.

@wranglerfix to the rescue!

Honestly you could call Mark and talk to him. He has some awesome JK guys that work for him.

They helped me on a JK we were working on at our shop and were super easy to work with.

You can send your ECM to them for testing too.

I run one of their's on my TJ.

I ordered a new starter relay fuse. When it gets here, I'm going to pull the TIPM, ECM, etc and clean everything before reinstalling it. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Heard a mysterious noise coming from the front of the 3.8 today.

Got home from taking Dad to church and took a gander at it.

Took the serpentine belt off, spun everything that would spin, the water pump pulley was making a noise.

Fired it up with the belt off, no noise, put the belt back on and water pump noise.

Hopefully will be replacing it tomorrow after work.

I took my TIPM out and I'm either going to be setting it on fire in a satanic anti Jeep ritual or mailing it to MAKs.

The latter fixed my problem. Only issue post install was I needed to re input things like ratios and tire sizes.

edit: I did not mail mine back until I had the replacement TIPM. IIRC

My issue was a dead key. No crank, no start. I did all the ground checks, changed every module I could think of that was cheaper than the TIPM, etc.

I'm just going to have mine repaired as opposed to a whole new one. I don't see a point with the extra cost when they say they just put in the updated OEM parts anyway.

I can’t remember exactly what happened but it seemed like it was the same price. Their site is a little confusing but I did call and speak to a knowledgeable guy.

Well got home from work, ate supper, started on the water pump at 6:30..... by 7:30 was finished, took BBJK for a 20 minute test drive.

Way quieter and no leaks!!!!!!!!!

So I think my issue is actually the PCM instead of TIPM. I pulled it out and gonna send it off to WranglerFix on my next check. Just haven't had time to tackle this since I last posted about it but I miss driving my Jeep. I tested every fuse, etc in the TIPM and the only things not lighting up were related to the starter relay, which I have replaced said fuse twice. I still have no power to ODB and everything I have exhaustively researched points to the PCM.

Hi y'all, I just installed a Bilstein steering damper and took the Jeep in for and alignment. I noticed immediately the firmness in the steering, and the only negative impact is a slight pull to the left at freeway speeds; that said, I usually don't let go of the steering wheel and don't notice it at all with hands on.

So, after enjoying the fresh mountain air at 7000' and some light trail exploring, I returned home to find my radiator leaking :(..... A cool 350.00 dollars later I had installed the new radiator, and thermostat/housing.
I have read a lot of write ups on swapping the radiator out and the issue of bleeding the air out of the system; I have always drilled a small, very small hole, in the thermostat and orient it skyward to allow the system to easily bleed out any air prior to the thermostat opening.
