I just wanted to put this out there. I just installed the Dorman shift tower with a B&M stick. The best thing I could have done for my 6spd Jeep. The shift pattern is tight and it locks into each gear. Half the price of the B&M tower. I bought mine from Walmart and it is perfect.

I am looking at putting a new shift unit in my 09 Wrangler. It looks like the only 2 options (at least what I can find) are the B&M and the Dorman. Both claim to fix the issue of popping out of 1st gear. Has anyone upgraded to either on of these and if so, would you recommend the change. Thanks...

I have a 2009 Wrangler with 63,000 miles on it. Every so often, at a very low speed. Like when I am pulling into my driveway. It jumps out of 1st gear. It has never jumped out of gear while driving it with normal acceleration. As when shifting from 1st to 2nd. Only in a parking lot or driveway...
