I think I’ll just add a switch to completely disable it and quit chasing my tail over the factory switch. 🥴

The switch does nothing in 4hi, when shifted into 4low the system disables itself. I found some used switch panels on eBay and from what I’m seeing they all have just the one plug Even rubicon panels with heated seats have one plug, so…. Maybe I was to quick to judge in my last post? IDK…?

Well I popped the switch panel off and didn’t expect to find what I found if I’m honest. No pigtail going to the switch, & no place for it to plug in if there were a pigtail. I guess it’s a dead dummy switch? Only one pigtail directly behind the hazard switch and I would assume that’s it’s...

I tried that on the gravel part of my driveway. It does kick in and the light will flash. It won’t illuminate when the button is pushed. I’ll pop the switch out and see it came disconnected this afternoon when I get home from work.

I have not. That’s my next step. Prob should have been my first step. I’ll post up what I find.

I searched and found no added switch anywhere. It turns off in 4 low & the dash illuminates, but the factory TC button does nothing in 4H or 2H. The light on the dash does flash if I spin the tires on a loose surface, so it appears to work fine, it just cannot be “disabled” by the button. The...

Thanks for the reply. I’ll have to look for a switch. I found a video where a guy installs a switch to complete disable TC, but while in the off position two dash lights will illuminate. I have none, but the bulbs are operational. I’ll dig around until I find the culprit and post my findings.
