It has not happened to any of my vehicles before but this 2018 wrangler JK Unlimited has had its share of rats or squirrels or whatever destroying the back underneath. Gas line, charcoal canister hose. Gas tank vent hose.

Thanks for your response! I’ve tried fox urine and it seems to help. It is a pain spraying it underneath the jeep but anything to keep them away!

Earlier this year they chewed my gas line. Wife comes in from the store with gas pouring out from underneath. Picture attached!

Yes, that was an issue I had a while back when the squirrels chewed the hose from the gas tank to the charcoal canister. It kept throwing a code. Got that and the others fixed. Picture attached of that hose they chewed.

Ended up going to O’Reilly’s and getting a fuel line splice kit. Works well! Thanks for the help!!

The chewed hose was connected to another set of hoses, close by. What would they be?

The small hose is chewed totally apart with about 4 inches totally gone. It looks as if was connected to something there in that area. That make sense?
