the 2008 warngler had an electronic throttle (No Mechanical linkage) and don't rmember if there was a ground connection at the sending unit for the fhrottle where the gas pedal is bolted on....In or there will be a ground for that system in wiring group that plugs in near or at the throttle...

Sounds like in internal problem inside the trans. Or, the sensor that makes the light work on the dash Is haywire or out of adjustment (If there even is an adjustment.) Just a thought, may be all wrong.

A bad ground can cause some really weird things to happen with all those relays in the fuse box, the little rascals get all confused and makes for big problems when a circuit starts sourcing a ground else where in the system. Check all the grounds forclean and tight. Hope that helps. I...
