I had a 2008 that did the same thing. It worked when it felt like it. Removed the glove box and located a red wire and a black wire going into the blower motor. When it stopped running, I found that the red wire was dead and used a jumper wire from the battery to the red wire and away it...

Not so easy on the Penstar engines but it can be done.

Somewhere under the hood there is a black box that has a big wire-wound resister in it to make the headlights dim. You can either bridge the thing for bright lights.....Or you can invest in a Jscan. with which you can change a lot of stuff to your liking. Reads trouble codes too.

I found that by drilling and tapping the top center of oil filter cap on the 3.6 engine and screwing in a 1/8 th. short nipple one can adapt to an electric sender or pressure line. I put a layer of JB weld on the outside of the fitting for extra strength. Do not use a wrench on the adapter...

I have a ball bearing mouse trap that works quite well.

I got one that is borderline in sensing wheel speed. It doesn't stop working long enough to throw a code. When it now and then stops working for a few seconds it shuts off the cruise control. I'll put my analyzer on it tomorrow and track down the little rascal and replace it.

I got a set of them last year and luv 'em. Great for not having to yank on the steering wheel to get my sorry behind onto the seat.

It's always good to see an easy fix.
