To clarify are you saying the engine is broken where the transmission mounts up? I believe the only engine mounts are on either side engine about 1/3rd of the way back from the front of the engine.

I would wonder about the rest of the engine as far as if it is okay. But to answer your question might want to consider the following since it is apart. 1. Oil cooler housing to Dorman 2. Spark plugs since it is all apart. 3. Ignition coils? I would OEM for any electrical components.

Did a little digging around last night. Looks like the 4-pin connector is routed up to the drivers rear taillight. No option for 7 pin from the factory. Looks like there is a 7 pin kit. There is a plug that plugs into the existing 4 pin then you run two wires up to front, one for battery...

If you have two keys try the other key and see if it will start. That will also help you know if it’s the key fob battery.

I do second the AEV 2.5” lift. Have it on three JK’s it’s a great setup. Handles wonderfully on and off road. Now if you were into heavy rock crawling I might would recommend something else. We do some rock crawling (did a portion of the Rubicon) and I was still happy with it.

As @1o1Proof said they are not weather proof. One simple solution is to use some dielectric grease on the connector plug. Water can get in there and cause issues. I’ve yet to have an issue with mine.

For me it it was just a matter of seeing someone taking time to do something that isn’t necessary. Plus just a place for some electrical thing to go haywire.

Assuming it does not work I am guessing around $300 from a few I’ve seen. As @1o1Proof said $120 for the manual setup. For a total of $420 I’ll just get the disconnect links. I am sure price varies by region.
