I hate them too!! Can take forever to track down and I’m not very good at it. Knock on wood, not a single electrical issue so far. I am ready for the PCM to go some day though.

Do you know if the 100,000 maintenance was done? At that mileage the plugs should have been changed, and I recommend the ignition coils to be replaced (could be the cause of the misfire codes) also the coolant system should have been flushed. Do you know if the oil cooler has been replaced...

Not sure I would either. Her ceiling is that old “popcorn / spray acoustic” stuff so sort of hard to roll paint it.

Got the boy’s new steering gear box and tie rod assembly in today. The right tools sure help the job go smoother. Still have the new radiator to install but he had to go to work. I’m off to spray paint my sister’s ceilings now. I’m getting too old for these long days 😂. Hoping the Graco...

It’s certainly doable by yourself. I agree though need a long bar of some sort to get the needed leverage.

I can’t say too much as we have a JT. It pulls the camper nicely. Also pulled our son’s JKU on a flatbed Tuesday from Lake Tahoe. It did pretty good but I’m sure it was at the limit for its capacity.

That is a good time to go. One time I was putting a suspension lift on the JKU and couldn’t get the right socket to use my 1/2” torque wrench on the driveshaft bolts. It was 8:30 at night headed to HF to get 3/8” only to realize they were closed, then had to go to Lowes’s and picked a...

Dad was up at 7:30, boy didn’t get up till 9:00 then had to cook himself breakfast. Then had to get cleaned up to go to work by 2:00. But managed to get the radiator out, drop the pitman arm and disconnect the power steering lines to the gear box today, not too bad for 3 hours. All together...
