Will a 35" tire fit on the stock wheel?

We put 315/70 R17s on our factory rims. These come out to about a 34.5" tire. We haven't had any issues, however we have a 2.5" lift. So as Chris stated, you will need a lift!

What are the best fluids to use on my Jeep Wrangler JK?

Any of the name brands of engine oul are good. As for differentials, I went with Amsoil on ours. Royal Purple is good too. We have large industrial gearboxes where I work and they switched over to Royal Purple and have had great results. Just my 2 cents!

    Jounce Bumper Help

So I tried to replace my jounce bumpers on the front today. This thing had steel plates that were bolted to the upper post cups. I had to use a sawzall and cut the nuts off due to rust, and the posts were full of dirt. Has anyone ran across something like this before? Also, I never could...

What are my options for improving interior lighting on my JKU?

I added an LED to ours to light up where the window buttons are since we always had to feel for them. Just a single led from Amazon and spliced into the other lights right there.

Buying a new Jeep soon, need some clarity

We must got a 2.5 inch lift installed and here in SC, the labor was around $600. We got a quote from another shop and it was around $800 for labor but that was for a 3.25 inch lift so there was a little more to it.

Looking for suggestions on quality stereo replacement

If you plan to diy, I would call Crutchfield. They have all the brand names plus wiring diagrams, adpater kits, and wiring plugs so you dont have to splice wires.

Buying a new Jeep soon, need some clarity

As a few have already suggested, I would go for a Rubicon. For the slight difference in price vs Sahara, you will pay MUCH more to try and add those mods after the fact.

    2010 JKU Rubicon

Thanks. We like the wheels too. Plus, we have extras if one gets damaged. The spare was actually an 18 inch. So, looked on marketplace and got a set of 5 factory rims for $50! Can't beat that!

Also installed a rear view mirror with camera front and back. I made a custom bracket so the camera is between the spare wheel spokes.

    2010 JKU Rubicon

The biggest things are the lift and tires in a couple of weeks. We can't wait for those. The front end is sagging pretty bad right now. The other things on the wish list are to replace all the other lights with LED, recovery gear, and a dead pedal. Recovery gear is next priority. In the...

How to Install a Transmission Cooler on a Jeep Wrangler JK

Two things I had to buy separately were extra hose clamps (which I had clamp kits at home already) and male-to-male barb fittings, 3/8". This kit did not come with those, but any hardware store should have them. I'm not sure if B&M has a kit with these that is specific to the JK or not. This is...
