Are your tires cupping?

I had an alignment done few months ago. Central PA. $120 from a shop who did my lift install. 6" lift.

If you're crafty, Jo-Ann fabric or Hobby Lobby has thick foam you can cut into shape. I did that before for my Ford Ranger.

Maybe a 2 door thing? I also have a 15 Willys but 4 door. I looked behind the carpet and didn't see the same as you show in your picture. Soon time to rotate those front tires to the rear. They're starting to cup. Good looking Jk and love the color!

It makes sense to me. To rule out, have you braked hard in park and reverse though?

Have you tested the brake switch itself?

Mine was delivered with a hard top. These brackets are specific to the soft top. I don't remember the brand off hand. If I get a chance I'll see if I can find what brand soft top they go to.

They're for the soft top. I have the exact same brackets for mounting my soft top on my 15.

Gearing up for an overlanding trip and decided I was done with the 1lb propane bottles. Installed the AT Overland Jk mount with the Flameking 5lb propane bottle and mount. Still deciding if I want to powder coat the AT mount black or not.

Just a faceplate replacement

On your temp gauge. Did you pull the stem from the stepper motor when you removed the needle? For the speedo, is the retaining ring perfectly flat and clipped in all the way?
