    Air Bag Light

    2010 jkur automatic with 95,000 miles. Was wheeling this afternoon on a fairly rough trail when my air bag light came on. Now it goes on and off steadily. I didn't hit anything, and the rocks weren't that big. 2.5 " lift and stock 32" tires. Where do I start looking? Thanks, Frank

    Used shortcut from U Tube to change heater core in my 2010 JKUR. Not as easy as the video shows, but not that difficult either. Better than tearing the whole dash out to do the regular way. Frank

    Also check your passenger side motor mount, if it is bad it will let the passenger side of the motor lift in reverse. Frank

    Hard Rock diff lockers taking a while to unlock 2015 JKU

    Danarch, If you are under power, the lockers will not disengage, also if you are turning, where there is a load on them, the will not disengage. As Chris said putting in neutral also helps. They don't always lock right away or unlock, it varys by the conditions at the time. Frank

    If you are doing rock crawling and are worried about bending the tube, then just have it trussed. I don't know about clearance with no lift.     I did a 2.5" spec lift on my jkur with a helper in the storage lot of our rvpark with a jack and 2 jack stands. Not real difficult, you hAve to follow the directions and take your time and it will be fine. Don't forget to retorque everything after a couple hundred miles. Frank

    Did you have the speedometer recalibrated for the tire diameter and gear ratio? I would check on the calibration first, someone might have plugged in incorrect numbers, then go from there. Frank

    Also I have seen the rubber hoses deteriorate and not allow the fluid return, thus keeping pressure on the caliper. I don't know anything about the hill assist. Your plan to change hoses, calipers, pads and fluid is a sound decision. Frank

    Try grounding the purple wire coming out of the relays on the passenger fender by the battery. That is the ground for the lockers, not sure which one is the rear. I ran wire to a switch then to ground and I can run my lockers anytime, the lights on the dash will blink when the locker is engaged...

    Can't get the lockers on a 2011 JK Rubicon to work

    The relays next to the battery by the fender, take the purple wire and run a jumper to ground, if the fuse is ok that should engage one of the lockers, the light will blink on the dash. Frank
