If you are going slow during rock crawling the automatic transmission is going to be in 1st gear anyway. Going into 1 is no different as far as traction is concerned, it's the same gear.

Found out the color of the wire on pin 7 and look for it in the area below the steering wheel. That is where most controllers are mounted. I had a 2005 Grand Cherokee with the factory tow package and that is what I was told where to find the wire.

In the past I've been told that the brake controller wire is in the - underneath the steering wheel area I would find out what color pin number 7 is on your plug and look for that color under the under the steering wheel

Not real sure but is there a main fuse that could be bad? All electrical systems are usually fuse protected.

I believe your light sensor is behind your rear view mirror along with the rain sensor. If you look at the back rear view mirror from the outside you will probably see the sensors

Don't look at it as leaning, be positive and think of it as one side has a lift.

Permatex makes a kit with an adhesive that conduct electricity to stick the button on the window and also come with the paint to repair the lines.
