All the stock bumpers and side steps on JKs non special editions are just plastic anyway. I recall being really surprised how light it was when removing mine.
If they've not been off in over 10 years then yea, you probably want to get some delrin bushings.

Man, I just tried to do a sensible set up for most things while still being able to retain just taking the thing out for drives or errands.
Muh real rock crawler stuff is like $30 grand in differentials and 7 in a proper suspension then another 2 in tires. Too expensive for my blood for just a toy.
They are in fact BF Goodrich 285/70R17s. When they wear out I intend to get Wildpeaks again in 35.
I was told I had 16 reports filed against me. I'm apparently not nice enough to the boomers and they take offense at everything if you're not deferential. It's not a bad forum but the Canadian...
Because if I'm driving and there's 50 mph crosswinds, etc, which are not uncommon where I live, I want to know if these mirrors are going to get slammed into the side of my door or not. The OEM ones can take it.
My Stinger bumper is from Affordable Offroad. I can tell it's a quality part and the steel is THICK but I have no idea if it's US steel or not. Their website only says hand built in the US. It's a lot thicker than my rear stub bumper from Rugged Ridge which I *know* is Chinese. That being said...
It's all Chinese steel nowadays, I think the only difference is vendor QC and how you use it.
As I've said elsewhere, just the realities of the global economy. Nothing is truly "American made" anymore just American assembled.
It was only for that first model year for JKs. I don't know why they stopped doing it but yea, it's rare as hens teeth.
I want to upgrade to 5.13s though because 4.10 just isn't enough in New Mexico.
I've found these Mopar parts sites to be hit or miss, when it comes to price. I usually cross check against eBay as well when trying to find the best deal.
