What did you do to your JK today?

So I think my issue is actually the PCM instead of TIPM. I pulled it out and gonna send it off to WranglerFix on my next check. Just haven't had time to tackle this since I last posted about it but I miss driving my Jeep. I tested every fuse, etc in the TIPM and the only things not lighting up...

    Correct drag link

Global economy. Almost nothing is actually made here anymore. If we ever go to war with China, millions of Americans are going to go without their medications.

Who is going to buy this JK rock crawler for 129k?

I have a sense of self worth, so not me. Spending $100k on a Jeep is either stupid or you have more money than the Vatican. E: All that money in "upgrades" and they still couldn't get steering wheel controls. Incredible.

    I'm so sorry. She's gorgeous.

Changing JK fuel injectors to JL fuel injectors

I'm sure most people think so.

    Hate Dealers

They don't want cash because then they can't lock you into financing. Imaginary number doesn't go up so the bank or whatever doesn't profit. None of them care about taking care of a customer.

Pros and cons of going with a newer JLU diesels

From what I understand, the diesels that Stellantis use have a reputation for bad QC and are prone to breaking down in JKs. I can only give you anecdotal at this time, I would Google their reliability.

New to the Jeep world and need advice

Respectfully, the Wrangler is a brick on wheels. It's a off-road vehicle with very few creature comforts, not your '98 Civic.

New to the Jeep world and need advice

Shocks? What will you be doing? OEM is fine if you're just mall crawling or going from A to B. CAI? Waste of money. Catback? Waste of money.

In the market for a JK; how to know if it's lifted?

Oh yeah. You can remove the whole top of the engine fairly easy, it's just tedious.

In the market for a JK; how to know if it's lifted?

Mines almost 200k and I've had to do head gaskets. At 200 though wouldn't you just put that down to a maintenance wear item rather than, "this engine has a problem"?

In the market for a JK; how to know if it's lifted?

3.8s are bullet proof if you take care of them. It's not unheard of to hear about them reaching 300 and 400k miles. Their biggest issue is they like to eat oil or can develop leaks but this can also change depending on oil you use. I use 5w30 high mileage in mine. As far as 3.6s go, this could...

This is your chance to replace it with a train horn. Choo! Choo!

What did you do to your JK today?

    It's like $240 for a repair. I think a new one is $700.

What did you do to your JK today?

I'm just going to have mine repaired as opposed to a whole new one. I don't see a point with the extra cost when they say they just put in the updated OEM parts anyway.

In the market for a JK; how to know if it's lifted?

My first model year JK has 4.10s on a 2.5 with 33s and for where I live, it's a dog. I'm eventually going to get Dana or Yukon 5.13s.

What did you do to your JK today?

I took my TIPM out and I'm either going to be setting it on fire in a satanic anti Jeep ritual or mailing it to MAKs.

It has more power. Reliability is a completely different matter.
