Same scenario here, but 2014 oems replaced by 2024 oems with tires. I bought the correct retro sensors on ebay (listed as oems) and had Discount Tire swap out and synch them for like $15-20 X 5 tires/wheels. If I bought their DT sensors it was like $60 per.

Same. My thermo went south at 50K but 10 years of service. Otherwise nails engine.

Apparently. The Chrysler engine has had 3-4 times the maintenance/fix it costs, and has 1/2 the mileage on it as the Chevy.

I should have said seems like it should, not should. I have a GM 3.6L in another vehicle and it runs consitently at 183 degrees after it warms to 180. So I was making presumptions about 3.6L V6 engines and not sure why one would need to run hotter than another.

My 2014 JK Rubicon with 50K miles was throwing off a check engine/malfunctioning thermo code. I am having it replaced and the shop is telling me factory recommended 203 degree thermostat installation. Why so hot? Shouldn't it be 180 degrees?

what size tires are those WildPeaks on your stock suspension, please? I am looking to upsize my 255/75/17s but not lift it.

I did a quick search for tire replacements and found some new take-offs...four 17" Jeep Rubicon factory rims with new (300 miles) 285/70/17 Falken AT3s for $1200 on my 25 mile radius facebook marketplace. I think you can easily find something like that. Ebay, Facebook, etc.

Check eBay used tires (search by size) I have been buying tires both new and used there for years. Make sure it’s free shipping built in the deal.

My 2014 Rubi stock battery died at 8 years old and 48K miles. It took a charge but then died again the next drive. Fortunately I was at a Les Schwab store getting tires inflated/rotated when it did. $200 later for a new battery and I was good to go.

2014 JK Rubicon. 42K original miles. After oil change at dealer they tell me I need to do all the brakes, replace the brake fluid, differential and transfer case fluid changes. Am I getting "milked dry" for no real reason here?
