    I have no idea on that maybe someone else will know. My Unit on the dash shows these things from the OBD: Speedometer RPM's Volts Air/fuel ratio Coolant and oil temps

    My guess it goes to something that's Aftermarket that gets it's reading from the OBD port, I have this OBD gauge the one on the left in the picture. https://wranglerjkforum.net/attachments/001-jpg.115277/

    Are you able to follow the twisted wire to see where it goes?

    Looks like the other side is loose also, I don't see the passenger side tie rod moving much. Usually when I check tie rods i'll have someone move the steering wheel back and forth with the engine off. Then i'll watch for movement in the tie rods.

    It looks kinda like to me the Jamb Nut isn't tight on both ends.

    I ran a wire from the battery to behind the glove box and put a terminal block for accessories like my light bar.

    What year is the Jeep? the 3.8 and the 3.6's are different, the 3.6's have the ticking problems

    Are you on dry pavement when this is happening? If so your not supposed to do that, only use 4x4 when the roads have snow or offroading in dirt or mud.

    Now that I think of this it's a common problem with some of the Jeeps, a few others have had the same issue.
