    Oil change and new ticking

When it comes to cabin size and comfort, inches make all the difference in the world. Jeep could add 4" to the overall width of the body tub, and add a longer seat rail without much trouble and it would make all the difference in the world. If they can build a Challenger and Charger in a wide...

    Oil change and new ticking

Unless they design a cabin that will allow a 70-year old, 6'6", 300lb guy with bad knees to stretch out a little, I don't see another Jeep in my future. I'll be lurking around and may offer a bit of advice here and there.

    Oil change and new ticking

My 2014 JKU was sold today. The 10 years I had with my Jeep will never be forgotten. My wife even told me earlier today, "Say goodbye to it for me." She has a soaker tub surrounded by the ducks its collected over the years, and, although she didn't drive it much, some of her greatest joys were...

    Oil change and new ticking

As soon as I heard the tick (about 140k miles) I made plans to get all the work done. Very happy with the independent shop who did the work. So much so, they did all the work this year replacing the cooling fan unit, water pump, resurfacing the heads, etc. I guess at this point the entire top...

    Rotational noise

Get it into a shop now. That sounds like a ball joint almost gone or a u-joint.

Value of 2014 JKU with new engine?

I was offered $10k sight unseen by the local Chevy dealer, where my wife bought her Tahoe a couple years ago. Carvana doesn't give much of an option to include all of the mods or note anything that makes the vehicle more valuable or attractive to a buyer.

2008 Jeep Wrangler blend door actuator help

Isn't the white plastic piece in the right side of the picture the actuator arm? I thought the older JKs, like your 2008 had a wire cable connection from the actuator to the door itself.

Value of 2014 JKU with new engine?

Thanks, I have some, but they're not the best with the sun angle, but I'll re-shoot them and include.

Value of 2014 JKU with new engine?

The whole idea of listing the vehicle and deciding whether or not you disclose a new engine, rebuild or major work is a part of the discussion as well. I have not listed any of the engine work done on mine, but I have disclosed it to the serious people who have contacted me. As with the OP, I...

Value of 2014 JKU with new engine?

I have my 2014 listed for $15k and, while the engine is original, the entire top end has been rebuilt- cams, rockers, lifters, heads resurfaced, new water pump, cooling fans. All the engine work done by a reputable shop and come with the same warranty as yours. Several mods and I'm selling it...

    Teraflex ST1 1.5" kit

I can attest. My 2.5" lift was a perfect fit for my JKU and the stance was everything I wanted. That is, until I replaced the factory front bumper with an OR Fab steel bumper that weighs around 80lbs. Since then, she has a slight rake, nothing that bugs the sh** outta me, but yeah, it's a thing.
